Definitely Not a Daddy’s Little Girl!

Shield Sketza was born in Surabaya on October 3rd 1983, the oldest of two brothers and one sister. Inspired and touched by an American comic strip in Bobo magazine (a story of female runner who cannot stand for sunshine) and a Japanese Children novelette (a story of Sakura seller who is brave and loving), Sketza secretly began to write. When she was in Elementary School, after watching Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator and idolizing him, Sketza made and draw her first science fiction comic strip in her school notebook. It was a story of……………ehm..a plump lazy white rabbit that turns out to be…uuuumm..a very strong terminator. Writing, drawing, listening as well as observing people are the things that capture her interest more than her daily lessons at schools and university. Sketza develops her passion in writing through literature. She has a big passion of life, coffee, yoga, rainy day, as well as chic-sophisticated guys and Christmas SALE. Universe, daydreaming, good conversation, splendid photographs, new places, humor, and awesome people are very inspiring to her. She has a thing for literature, spirituality, philosophy, and anything about art. She was graduated from English Department in Petra Christian University (as a naughty student, of course ^^). Besides writing, she enjoys her life by running her company and teaching English. Then, working together with a graphic designer friend, she just finished writing a story for short animation movie titled Mother Earth. Now she is collecting her old writing for her own book.
